- Let me share a used case – How will you get GRANT LOGIN ACCESS Permission if you’re managing an org having more than 100+ user licenses. Let’s increase your more trouble – (1) 75% Users are from Sales & Marketing Team (2) Most of the users never comes to office – all of them spend time meeting with clients / prospects / customers.
Question – What will be your approach ? How will you overcome to avoid any type of delayed support or scolding from the department / reporting manager ?
Simple Solution –
- Log a case with Salesforce Support asking for having Grant Login Access for all Users for System Administrator Users.
- Once Salesforce Support Team enables the feature do the following steps – Set Up > Administration Setup > Security Controls > Login Access Policies > Under Settings – Enable – Administrators Can Login as any User (See the screenshot below)
Note – If an Administrator update / created a recorded while logged in as X User, Salesforce would log this action as if it was made by the X User not the system administrator.
